Alaska,
I’m coming soon!! When I left you last fall, I wasn’t sure that we’d ever see each other again. As I grew more comfortable in my new home, I thought it even less likely. But, ‘tis true, my love. We will be reunited again soon. And I am shaking with excitement of seeing you again, face to face. I hope you’ve forgiven me for leaving you. See you soon!

I don't know Alaska very well, but I lived in the Yukon for years... there's nothing like the north, that's for sure! Everytime I see fireweed I get homesick!
