After years of accumulating airline miles between Alaska and the Midwest, I finally have enough to make a rewards trip! Although I could only get a free one-way ticket because of availability, I'm totally happy. I spent 45 minutes on the phone waiting to book my flight, but I finally can say that I am going to Los Alamos, New Mexico to visit Chris on less than $300. It is impossible to get out of Alaska for that price. I'm totally excited. Now to figure out how to avoid altitude sickness.....
